PRODUCE IN SMALL BATCHES

I believe in making small batches and producing only what is needed. My collections are designed with this in mind and the aim of selling out. This practice reduces unnecessary waste and ensures our pieces are made thoughtfully, with appropriate time and craftsmanship.

RESPONSIBLE SOURCING OF MATERIALS

I try as much as possible to use raw materials that have minimal impact on the environment, like using Abaca, a natural leaf fiber that comes from a relative of the banana tree family native to the Philippines that grows throughout tropical regions. The abaca plant matures within 18-24 months, enabling frequent harvests without depleting natural resources. Unlike synthetic fibers derived from fossil fuels, Abaca is biodegradable, meaning it naturally decomposes over time, reducing waste and minimizing its impact on landfills. Abaca waste materials are also used as organic fertilizer.

The majority of the leathers I use are sourced from tanneries that was certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), an organization that works to promote sustainable environmental practices in the leather industry.

ENCOURAGING CRAFTSMANSHIP AND SUPPORTING ARTISANS

I partner with small-scale independent factories who share our commitment to quality, sustainable and ethical practices. Our journey takes us to various corners of the globe, where we work with artisans who bring their expertise to every piece. I believe in the importance of making a positive impact on the people we make my products, the environment and the artisan communities across my supply chain.
